Promote socialization and professional networking in the HCDE department. Empower students to take control of their paths.
Outcome
A fully rebranded organizastion, a new, feature-rich website, and the hosting of events with over hundreds of attendees.
I ran for (and won) the position of HCDEsa president in May 2019. Although I had felt involved in my department, I realized that my peers didn’t seem aware of the association or the events they held. I wanted to join in order to do my part in giving students in my department the opportunity for their voice to be heard.
